A heat press machine combines both heat and pressure to process rosin extraction from cannabis flower, hash, or kief. Therefore, evenly distributed temperature from heat press plates, and accurate temperature delivered and detected is two key points in the process of solventless extraction. These two elements affect heat quality and yield.

In order to obtain the accurate temp delivered. After the hundreds of tests in lab, we selected the matched relay and thermocouple to the high-quality PID temp controller.

Now we promise, at room temperature, during the warm-up process of the heated plates, PV (Current temp) and SV (Set Temp) of rositek's PID temp controller are less than the difference around 5 degrees. After set temp reached, the temperature difference is 0-2 degrees most of the time.

Regarding to how to obtain the evenly distributed temp from heat plates, we utilized dual cartridge heaters located in the half of plate for each heated platen, 4-piece heaters in total. These four heaters can not only maintain a consistent temperature but also speed up the heating time.
